What it is
A gentle dark ale built for volume drinking, where a modest gravity still has to deliver caramel, toast and a hint of roast. Bitterness is low and the finish is soft, so the malt does all the talking.
Flavor
Room for earthy/woody.
Chocolate and caramel, with room for grainy, coffee/roast, bready/biscuit, dark fruit, sweet/honey, toasty or nutty.
Clean and fruity esters.
