What it is
BJCP's 2021 name for what brewers call the juicy, hazy or New England IPA: opaque, soft and pillowy, with huge tropical and stone-fruit hop aroma from late and dry hopping. Bitterness is deliberately restrained and the mouthfeel full, so it drinks fruity rather than sharp.
Flavor
Citrus, tropical and stone fruit, with room for berry, resin/pine, floral or earthy/woody.
Grainy, with room for bready/biscuit or sweet/honey.
Fruity esters and clean.
