What it is
The export-strength stout: bigger than an Irish extra stout, firmly bitter, and dry in the finish despite its gravity. Roast is intense but clean, without the burnt harshness of an imperial.

Room for herbal, spice or earthy/woody.
Coffee/roast and chocolate, with room for grainy, bready/biscuit, caramel, dark fruit or sweet/honey.
