What it is
A big, black, aggressively roasted stout with citrus and pine hop character layered over espresso and dark chocolate. Bitterness comes from both hops and roasted grain, and the finish is dry and long.
Flavor
Room for citrus, resin/pine, floral or earthy/woody.
Coffee/roast and chocolate, with room for grainy, sweet/honey or caramel.
Clean, with room for fruity esters.
