What it is
An elegant amber lager driven by the toasty character of Vienna malt, finishing dry with moderate hopping and no caramel sweetness. It is lighter and less malty than a Märzen, trading bread crust for toast. Clean lager fermentation underneath is non-negotiable.
Flavor
Room for floral, herbal or spice.
Grainy, bready/biscuit and toasty, with room for sweet/honey or caramel.
Clean, with room for sulfur.
