What it is
A revived Thuringian wheat beer that pairs a light lactic tartness with a clear campfire smokiness from beechwood-smoked malt. It is low in alcohol, low in bitterness and highly carbonated — smoke and acidity share the stage without either taking over.
Flavor
Hops stay in the background: none of their character belongs.
Grainy and smoke, with room for bready/biscuit.
Tart, with room for clean, fruity esters or funk.
