Description

AEB's workhorse lager strain and the one their own substitution guide lines up against W-34/70: a German bottom-fermenting yeast that finishes clean, drops hard and suits everything from Pilsner and Helles through Märzen and Bock. Esters and phenols are both minimal, so the malt bill carries the beer.
