Before you use it
The target is only about 0.1–0.2 ppm zinc in the wort, which is a few hundredths of a gram in a homebrew batch — below what most kitchen scales can weigh, so make up a stock solution. Much above 0.5 ppm is toxic to yeast.
Description
Straight zinc, for brewers who prefer to dose the one mineral yeast actually runs short of rather than a whole blend. Supports healthy budding and complete attenuation.
