Before you use it
All-malt worts rarely need it; the payoff is in high-gravity beers and anything with a lot of sugar, honey or maize. Too much leaves an ammonia-like harshness, so resist doubling the dose to be safe.
Description
A general-purpose blend of diammonium phosphate with yeast hulls and trace minerals, supplying the free amino nitrogen an adjunct-heavy wort lacks. Cheap insurance against a sluggish or stalled fermentation.
