Description
The darkest malt Viking make, roasted from pilsner malt past 200 °C, where the color arrives in the last few minutes of the drum. Burnt and smoky but less acrid than their roasted barley: 1–2 % moves the color with little change in flavor, and beyond 10 % is rare.
