Before you use it
Weigh carefully — the effective dose is a fraction of a gram per batch, and the powder is far easier to overdose than a scored tablet. Sensitive drinkers react to sulfites, so the potassium version is often preferred.
Description
The loose-powder equivalent of a Campden tablet, doing the same chloramine and chlorine removal at a fraction of the price per batch. Convenient when treating large volumes of liquor at once.
