Description
Rahr's Canadian pilsner malt, made in Alix, Alberta from Canadian barley, and the palest thing they sell at 1.3-1.75 SRM. Low color and low modification, meant for beers where the hop or the yeast is supposed to be the story: continental and craft lagers of any stripe, and a pale West Coast IPA. Grain, dough, golden bread and a faint nuttiness. No diastatic power is published, so the figure here is class-typical.
