Description
Pale malt smoked over beech, well enough modified — friability above 75 %, Kolbach 36 to 44 — to carry a grist on its own, which is exactly what a rauchbier asks of it. The color stays low so the smoke, not the malt, is what you taste. No diastatic power is published, so the value here is representative for a malt of this modification.
