Description
A light caramel malt carrying up to 1 % sea salt, so it does two jobs at once: the stewed sugars give the usual caramel sweetness, body and head retention, and the salt lifts and rounds the finish the way it does in salted caramel. That salt load is the reason it turns up in gose recipes; at 20 % it is a real salt addition, not a garnish.
