Before you use it
It only works with a yeast that can cut the bond, so pair it with a thiol-releasing strain. On an ordinary ale yeast most of the precursor is left bound and the powder is an expensive haze.
Description
Freeze-dried Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grape skin, ground to a powder, carrying bound 3SH and 3SHA thiol precursors. Yeast with the right enzyme cleaves them, releasing passionfruit, guava and grapefruit aromatics that the hops alone would not give.
