Description
Husked oats from Muntons’ small drum maltings, and the husk is why the extract floor is 230 lt°/kg where their barley malts clear 300: an oat hull does not come off in malting and yields nothing. Porridge and a creamy body, and enough fatty acid to hold a stable haze without reaching for an unmalted adjunct. Muntons will take it to half the grist provided the barley malt beside it carries the conversion; the enzyme figure is class-typical, as they publish none.
