Before you use it
Order and interval matter — dosing both together makes them neutralize each other in the bottle rather than in the beer. Chitosan is shellfish-derived, so it is not suitable for everyone.
Description
A two-part system: negatively charged silica sol goes in first, then positively charged chitosan, and the opposite charges sweep each other and the haze to the bottom. Clears stubborn beer and cider faster than any single fining.
