Description
The odd one out in the kveik set. It finishes bone dry because it carries STA1 — Inland Island confirmed the gene by PCR — and it leads with clove and allspice rather than the usual kveik citrus, with a faint banana that hints at a hefeweizen ancestor. Good in a Belgian blonde or as blending stock in a mixed culture.
