Description
A crystal malt made by an alternative steam process rather than the traditional stew-and-roast drum, aimed at a softer, less astringent caramel character. Copper-red with graham-cracker and nutty caramel notes; use it where a traditional crystal malt would land too sharp — IPAs, Irish red, English bitter, porter, barleywine.
