Description
A light caramel malt that warms a beer to golden without darkening it, carrying a delicate caramel sweetness. The Swaen point to better mouthfeel, head retention and colloidal stability, which suits it to helles, pilsner and pale ale grists at generous rates. Drum-caramelized, so it brings no enzymes of its own.
