It goes in the rehydration water, not the batch. Added to wort it is an ordinary nutrient and the whole point of the product is lost.
Description
A rehydration nutrient: micronutrients, sterols and unsaturated fatty acids delivered while the cell wall is still permeable, in the twenty minutes before pitching when yeast can absorb them freely. Aimed at the lag phase rather than the ferment.
