Description
Gladfield smoke their distilling malt over West Coast manuka, and it is the only manuka-smoked malt anyone makes. The smoke is floral and sweet where beech is savory and peat is medicinal, and it sits over a pale, fully enzymatic base — so it can be the whole grist of a rauchbier or a percent or two of seasoning, which is the range Gladfield themselves quote.
