Description
A crystal malt stewed and dried without being kilned, so it carries the unfermentable dextrins and none of the color. Bought for body and head retention rather than for flavor. `Carapils` is Briess's trademark and `Dextrin Malt` is what everyone else calls it; the class is both, and the figures are the median of the dozen dextrin rows here.
