Before you use it
A drop is a dose — overdoing it can cost foam in the finished beer, though most of the silicone binds to the trub and is left behind. Shake the bottle; the emulsion separates. It is not a substitute for a bigger kettle or more headspace on a wild fermentation.
Description
A food-grade silicone antifoam that knocks kettle boil-overs and fermenter kräusen down without changing flavor. Lets you fill the kettle or cone further and is the usual answer to a hoppy wort that wants to climb out of the pot.
