Description
The darkest Dingemans caramel short of Special B, drum-caramelized and then dried hard so the sweetness concentrates into dark toffee and dried fruit. This is the rung between Cara 45 and Special B that a dubbel or a Belgian strong dark reaches for, and Belgian abbey brewers use a lot of it. Dingemans sell it as Cara 200 MD after its EBC; the American trade renumbers it Cara 75 after its Lovibond.
