Description
Raw cane sugar spun only far enough to leave a thin molasses film on large pale amber crystals. Near enough pure sucrose that it yields what table sugar does, about 45 points per pound, with light toffee and a faint rum note from the film. Traditional in English strong ales and worth reaching for anywhere plain sugar would read as too clinical.
