Description
The benchmark English pale ale malt, made from a low-yielding heritage barley that is grown because of how it tastes rather than how much it makes. Gives a full, biscuity, faintly nutty malt spine and is happy as the entire grist for bitter, mild or IPA. Crisp publish no diastatic figure for any of their malts, so the one here is class-typical.
