Description
Non-GMO yellow corn, degermed so the oil that eventually turns a flaked maize rancid is already gone, then pre-gelatinised for the mash tun. Briess publish 80 % extract at 7 % moisture and say the pre-cooked flake yields better and brews more predictably than a conventional one. Up to 40 % lightens color and thins body without costing gravity; expect fresh sweetcorn rather than nothing at all.
