Description
Briess call this a brown malt and built it on the pale side of the style, so a little residual sweetness survives under the toast rather than the dry husky bite a British brown malt brings. Graham cracker, biscuit and toasted nuts over a clean dry finish; five to ten percent warms the color, fifteen to twenty-five makes the toast the point. No diastatic power is published because a roaster leaves none.
