Description
A step below the black malts, landing in deep brown rather than true black. Cocoa, roasted nuts and a hint of espresso come with a gentle roast bitterness that fills out a porter or brown ale without flattening it. The workhorse dark malt when you want richness and can still see through the glass at the edges.
